I'm halfway through an artist residency in Westfalia, Germany. I'm living and working in an old farmhouse with Suzi Barlow, Meiyi Wang and Taryn Kneteman, three fantastic artists. We are isolated. The next town is a 15 minute journey away, and there's nothing but farms and corn and cows between there and here.
A lot of making is happening for me: object making, weavings and woodcuts. I've got some installations planned too. Let's see what I can do with the next two weeks.
I'm having some thoughts about the appropriateness of keeping a blog on my website. I love writing it, but I'm questioning if the content is too casual or personal for what should be my professional portfolio. I'd love feedback, if anyone has any.
